Network Table

Network Table

Desert Spring Community Resource Center is growing to provide case management to our existing clients and other families and individuals living in our area.

The Network Table Program trains volunteers to develop the skills to support clients, listen to their needs, and refer them to appropriate services or programs that best meet their needs drawing on their own skills, strengths, and social capital.

The Resource Center will schedule clients, communicate with all volunteers regularly, and maintain accurate referrals for social services.

The Resource Center will provide a comfortable confidential meeting space, maintain and secure client files, and continual training and volunteer management

About Network Table: Network Table is a model of Open Table, Inc., a research-driven model training people to form teams that access their skills, personal connections, and business networks to empower people and organizations with complex needs to remove barriers and achieve goals they could not realize on their own. Network Table training is delivered through the online Open Table University, peer-to-peer support from established Tables, and Open Table coaches. The evidence base for Open Table social capital models is demonstrated through more than 20 studies, including three case studies by the Baylor University Program on Prosocial Behavior.
